While it’s considerably smaller in size than other markets featured, DarkMatter has been consistently building a user base while avoiding the typical scandals that often plague its larger peers.
DarkMatter was launched in September 2022, and differentiates itself by only allowing Monero (rather than the older and less privacy-focused Bitcoin) transactions. It also offers a walletless payment system, meaning customer deposits aren’t stored on the site, in an attempt to assuage fears of exit scams. Predominantly hosting drug vendors, DarkMatter also offers a number of fraud, counterfeit, and malware products.
