Dark web intelligence company receives prestigious UK Government accreditation to help public service organizations counter dark web threats
Portsmouth, UK – Thursday January 25, 2023
Searchlight Cyber, the dark web intelligence company, has been named as an appointed supplier on Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) Cyber Security Services 3 Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) framework. Under the terms of the agreement, Searchlight Cyber will supply its dark web intelligence products to UK public sector organizations that are looking to manage dark web risks and improve their overall cybersecurity posture.
Developed in collaboration with the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), the DPS framework is the only compliant way for the UK public sector to access NCSC-assured service providers. Using the DPS framework, organizations can easily find the right cyber security service tailored to meet specific requirements, with the ability to filter options by service and assurance type.
Searchlight Cyber has two core dark web intelligence products that will now be available for UK public sector organizations to procure through Cyber Security Services 3 DPS:
- Cerberus – a dark web investigation platform built in collaboration with government agencies, which enables organizations to safely search more than 15 years of dark web data to identify threats that could impact them.
- DarkIQ – a dark web monitoring platform, which continuously searches the deep and dark web for details related to an organization and alerts to any malicious activity that could indicate an imminent threat.
“I am proud to announce that Searchlight Cyber has become an appointed CCS supplier, which will allow us to extend our work with the UK public sector,” said Ben Jones, CEO of Searchlight Cyber. “We have worked closely with the UK Government and law enforcement agencies since day one, it is part of our DNA, and this latest accreditation is another landmark in our collaboration with the UK public sector. We are acutely aware of the challenges public sector organizations face from cybersecurity threats, in an ever more hostile environment. This accreditation gives public sector organizations access to products they know they can trust, which they can use in their fight back against dark web threats.”
CCS supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2019/20, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits worth over £1bn – supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.
